Coast FIRE is the point at which you've saved enough that — even without additional contributions — your portfolio will grow to your target retirement number by a specific age. PlanyFI calculates your Coast FIRE milestone automatically and updates it as you adjust your income, expenses, and investment assumptions.

PlanyFI does not connect to your bank accounts or require any financial credentials. All data you enter stays within your account and is encrypted at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties. You can export your data at any time.

You can model unlimited scenarios on the free plan — but your data is session-only and won't be saved. Premium lets you save and revisit unlimited scenarios, so you can compare paths like "rent vs. buy" or "retire at 45 vs. 50" over time.

Yes. Premium accounts can export all projection data as CSV. On the free plan you can explore all features, but export requires a saved model.
